Jennifer Grant lead us in a team building exercise. The exercise was designed for those present to learn something about each other. We had fun learning about our pets or lack of pets; and about our work or lack of work (retirement) lives.

Change in Weekly Meeting Schedule Change. All of our meeting will be on Thursdays.  MARK YOU CALENDARS!  This will be a five month trial [February through June 2018]

  • Club Committee list has been circulated by Bill.  Please verify that you are willing to serve where you have been assigned, or let him know what committee you would prefer to be on.  If not assigned, let him know what committee you would have interest in being a member.
 
  • Bruce Pacht is planning on attending the Pie for Breakfast event at the Waterbury, VT Club on February 10th.  He hopes to come home with new thought and ideas for our Great American Pie Buffet.  He would be delighted to have other members join him for the ride to Waterbury.  He plans to leave from the Service Credit parking lot on Mechanics Street at 8:30 AM.  
 
  • Both Clubs will be voting on whether or not our clubs should consolidate/merge.  Tentative dates for voting - Lebanon Riverside, February 22, 2018; Lebanon, March 1, 2018.  Stay tuned for information about voting if you cannot be at your home club's meeting.
 
  • Rotary Leadership Institute, Concord, NH on March 3, 2018. NH Technical Institute.  More info about RLI and to register at http://www.rlinea.org/  Our District will reimburse your registration fee.  Governor Eric just asks that you come back and tell our club about RLI.
 
  • Save these Dates! All hands on deck!
    • 2018 Golf Tournament will be May 24, 2018
    • 2018 Brew Fest will be August 18, 2018
 
  • Three members of the Rotary Club of Lebanon were recognized for there support of the Rotary Foundation. Individuals who have contributed more than $1000 to the Annual Program Fund, the Polio Plus Fund or the Humanitarian Grants Program of the Rotary Foundation are recognized as Paul Harris Fellows.  Today we recognized:
    • Dan Nash — Received his first Paul Harris recognition.
    • Willy Koppenheffer  —  Received his Paul Harris +3
    • Kevin Gould — Received his Paul Harris +4

  • March 1, 2018 — Heidi Healman - Heidi Heilman is a Rotarian and Founder of EdventiHeidi has worked in the youth substance abuse prevention field for over 25 years. Her experience in drug policy, prevention and treatment has helped advance the mission of several noteworthy service organizations working to address youth risk and promote healthy development.  Heidi led the founding and continues to serve as President of the Massachusetts Prevention Alliance, a non-profit educational and advocacy organization serving to protect the health and well-being of youth through sound public health policy. We may have an opportunity to be part of a Rotary Global Grant that is being spearheaded by Heidi.
